So, for the past few months every retailer from Wholefoods to Pathmark is jumping on the “reusable recycle bags” bandwagon.  Most are sold for $1, and they are usually your standard materials of poly blend or paper blend made in china. I don’t really buy into this whole trend, I just need a bag for all of my stuff that I schlep from the boroughs into the city. So I purchased one from Whole Foods which,  I thought I was in love with. All green, spacious, and representative of my healthy lifestyle. That was until I went into GNC and saw theirs.

This bag I just picked up from GNC deserves its own entry on my blog.  Not only does it have some shinny (no leak) finish, but it also has two different handle sizes, so you can really get some good use out of it.  We will see how long it holds up, but as for now, this bag wins the recycle bag wars.  It even has the recycle logo prominently displayed on the front, so that everyone knows that you recycle by using this bag over and over, and you paid $1 to do so.  It is kinda cool, even though this shinny coating probably causes cancer.

I am going to finish my skinny girl shake I purchased from GNC, you guys have a good day!! Oh, and I am not watching TV! Did I mention that?

One Response to “Best Recycle Bags”

  1. This is the best one I’ve found…This blog is offering the yellow one for $6.50 and its actually nice looking, holds 2 grocery bags-worth of stuff, and rolls up and snaps to fit anywhere. http://mdesignboutique.blogspot.com/2008/06/yellow-flora-re-usable-grocery-bag-get.html

There are more like it in different colors/patterns at http://www.mdesignboutique.com — for $8.50 and 50 cents of that goes to The Nature Conservancy.

Best Recycled Bag out there for the price and quality. Its not ugly! How rare in the world of these kinds of bags!
